The homework for this weekend is to make a boat for the Gingerbread man to cross the water. We will test some of these boats in the water tray and then we will be looking at floating and sinking during continuous provision. Don't worry if your boat isn't waterproof we will take a picture of it rather than putting it in the water!
This week we will be continuing to focus on 'We are going on a bear hunt', the children will be making their own versions of the story and looking at poetry to support their story.
At the end of the week we will be having a teddy bear picnic so if all children could bring a teddy bear into school on Friday that would be great.
The children have made lots of progress with their adding skills and so this week we will be moving onto shape and looking at 2d and 3d shapes. If you have any cardboard boxes in different 3d shapes, we will also be making robots during the week and looking at the shapes we have used.
Thank you for your continued support and your amazing creative ideas for the project work each weekend.
