Learning through the creative and performing arts
At LIPA School, our Art curriculum (Reception - Year 11) is designed to inspire creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking in every pupil, nurturing a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts. By experimenting with a variety of materials and techniques, pupils develop their own creative identity while building essential skills like problem-solving, time management, and effective communication. We emphasise the ability to critically analyse art within historical and cultural contexts, helping pupils make meaningful connections between their own work and the world around them. With strong links to the creative industries, our curriculum equips pupils with the tools and confidence to pursue careers in art, design, media, and beyond, nurturing the next generation of innovative thinkers.
