Learning through the creative and performing arts
At LIPA School, our music curriculum (Reception - Year 9) is designed to inspire creativity, collaboration and musical proficiency. Pupils are encouraged to explore a wide range of musical styles, instruments and techniques, developing their own musical voice while building essential skills such as listening, performing, and composing. Through both individual and group work, pupils gain confidence in expressing themselves and understanding music's role in different cultures and societies. With opportunities to connect with professional musical and live performance experiences, our curriculum supports the creation of a lifelong passion for music and prepares pupils for potential careers in the music industry.
