At LIPA School we believe that performance is crucial in the development of our pupils because it nurtures essential life skills while developing confidence and self-expression. Whether in sports, music, drama, or public speaking, performance pushes individuals to set goals, practice discipline, and handle pressure—qualities that are transferable to many aspects of life. It teaches teamwork, time management, and resilience, as our pupils learn to manage both success and failure.
Moreover, performance encourages creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication, all of which are invaluable for personal growth and future professional success. Through performance, pupils at LIPA develop a sense of accomplishment and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
16 by Sixteen is our commitment to providing 16 unique performance opportunities whilst at LIPA School. It is an initiative that is in its final stage of development and will be launched in September 2025.
